Hello, I am Ellie Hutton the face behind 'blooms by ellie'.

The power of flowers is always something that amazes me. From a beautiful single stem vase to a show stopping flower arch, they are able to tell a story and is what makes your wedding personal to you. 

 

I love being creative with flowers, breaking the boundaries and see it not only as creating a fabulous bouquet but also in many ways a piece of art. 

 

Before I took up floristry I studied an Art Degree at Leeds Arts University, which has enabled me to adapt the skills I learnt and apply them into floristry. Meaning a excellent understanding of colour, shape, texture and movement.
